Our signature varietal, this super food-friendly wine has intense aromas of green apples, nasturtiums and crushed white pepper that land on the palate with Meyer lemons, elder flowers and juicy stone fruit minerality. Pairs beautifully with seafood, salads, cream sauces, spicy Asian and Mexican food, and especially sushi!
We have 3 acres of Grenache Blanc in our estate vineyard and follow the Lodi Rules certification for sustainable winegrowing. Our Grenache Blanc grapes were harvested from our vineyard which is located in the Mokelumne River AVA of the Lodi Appellation. Our grape clones come from the famous French Château de Beaucastel Winery in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region by way of Tablas Creek. The cool nighttime breezes from the Mokelumne River nearby give the grapes ripe, fruity flavors with excellent balance.
All of our grapes are hand-picked and immediately pressed as whole clusters to capture the fresh, flavorful Grenache Blanc character. The grapes were harvested in the early morning to keep acidity at its highest, providing the vibrancy in the wine. The juice is then cool fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to highlight the pure fruit expressions.
