Great expectations for this wine! Already its starting out with great tangerine and ripe peach notes. Delicious by itself, this dry wine is great with lots of cuisines. Our 2017 Viognier just won a Gold in the 2019 American Fine Wine Competition and a Gold the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (our 2015 won best Viognier in California!).
Reminiscent of honeyed tangerine and peach, this wine is crisp and dry, yet round on the palate. Aroma of violets, followed by a long, dry finish.

We follow the Lodi Rules for sustainable grapegrowing. Harvested in the Mokelumne River AVA of the Lodi Appellation, our grape clones are Tablas Creek cuttings from the famous French Château de Beaucastel Winery in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region. Our climate is very similar to that of the Southern Rhône with cool nighttime breezes from the Mokelumne River nearby giving our grapes their ripe, fruity flavors with excellent balance.
536 Cases Produced
All of our grapes are hand-picked and immediately pressed as whole clusters to capture the fresh, flavorful Viognier character. The grapes were harvested in the early morning to keep acidity at its highest, providing the vibrancy in the wine. The juice is then cool fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to highlight the pure fruit expressions
Food Pairing Notes
Pairs well with goat cheeses, fish, Asian dishes, citrus salads. A big hit paired with Lamb Tagine at a recent winemaker dinner.
